I can take any document, at any stage of development, and help you make it better.

I have many years' experience producing the right words, even when required to work with what seems to be too little or too much information. My focus is always on being clear, concise and creative.

I have particular strengths in developing or improving document structure, converting complex material into lay language (fine tuned over a decade working in universities), adapting material to suit the audience and situation, and taking out what isn't really needed.

Effective writing is not just about putting words together nicely and checking the punctuation. Even proper editing requires more than that.

You should always write with purpose and with a realistic idea of how the material you have to work with suits your aims. Sometimes you have to tweak those aims.
