Tailored training

I offer three training options, which can be tailored to specific needs. These are not fixed programs; I simply charge for my time to prepare (or adapt) then deliver the material.

Initial sessions of as little as an hour focus on theory. From there we can determine whether practical sessions would be of value to some or all participants.

Presentations training, like my appraisal service, focuses on how to create presentations that suit a particular need, how to write for the ear not the eye, and the common traps to avoid.

Media training focuses on how journalists work and how to work with them; your rights and responsibilities; and how to prepare and perform. On camera exercises can be included.

Writing training takes a strategic look at how tackle writing tasks as a professional would (with a bit of grammar thrown in for good measure).

Nick assisted in teaching this aspect of the course with me and without exception the students rated his session as one of the highlights of the program.
